My doctor threw in the towel.
You are right in saying a patient cannot interpret a test like the Female Hormone Panel, or Adrenal Stress Index on her own. Would you be available to do a peer to peer with one of the doctors I am going to?

I am tryimg to solve my menstral, or lack of menstral problems? My family doctor and my obgyn have thrown in the towel and I need help.

Yes. You cannot take Depo and not mess up your brain. That is what it is designed for. And, because it is a synthetic, you can get some other unwanted effects, too. The real question is not whether you messed up your body/brain. It is can the problems be reversed. I am convinced most can.
...or is my problem related to another long term problem. I had my last depo February 5, 2002. My only normal period was 08/10/03. Birth control pills induce a period and all the blood tests indicate I am not premenopausal.
Please don't take birth control pills. Your main problems were probably caused by taking synthetics (Depo). The solution is not to take more synthetics.
I have a good feeling I need something to regulate me, but I have no idea what. Do you advise no treatment and letting nature take its corse, or some medical intervention. Thank you for your time.
Test. Adjust hormones with the real, human, molecule (not synthetics) to retrain your brain and ovaries to work together again.

Are there any best practices for the saliva test? Please dont say to start on day one of my cycle.
It depends on which test we use and on which supplements, meds, and hormones you have been exposed to. I might just say start the day you get it.
