Replete Replete is a combination of human-strain bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidus. The original samples were collected from healthy humans in the 1940's. This means that Replete will colonize much better than the animal strains used in most other probiotic products. Replete also uses a patented process called MicroCell encapsulation to stabilize the organisms against stomach acid and bile. The MicroCell process also gives the organisms a long shelf life in their state of suspended animation. Replete will last over six months in the refrigerator. (We keep it in the freezer until it is sent to you so it is absolutely fresh.) Replete helps restore the good bacteria in our digestive tract after antibiotic use. Lactobacillus predominates in the upper intestine, while Bifidobacterium plays a more important role in the lower portion of the intestine. A typical dose following antibiotics is 1/2 foil packet of Replete twice per day for one or two weeks. Then follow with one HMF Forte capsule per day until the bottle is empty. HMF Forte contains a lower count of the same organisms. The same dosing can be used to eradicate a number of pathogenic bacteria and the lighter occurrences of fungal organisms like Candida spp. Statements about products and health conditions have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.
