Short Post Menopause Hormone Panel

The Short Post Menopause Hormone Panel (PHP1) was designed to measure baseline ovarian hormone production in women who have experienced menopause. When a woman has had no period in the last three to five years or when the ovaries have been surgically removed, we can be fairly sure that the ovarian hormones do not vary much from day to day.

The PHP1 measures hormones that are produced by the ovaries and adrenals (and some in peripheral tissues): DHEA, testosterone, estrone, estradiol, estriol, and progesterone.

I use the PHP1 to measure baseline hormone values, to determine doses for hormone supplementation, and to monitor hormone usage.

Women experiencing symptoms of perimenopause should consider using the Female Hormone Panel which consists of 11 sample vials to be used over the course of a cycle.

E-mail me for more information on the Short Post Menopause Hormone Panel or to order a test kit.
