Thyro-Dyne serves as a nutritional and botanical supplement, supporting production of T4 and T3. Because the majority of T4 to T3 conversion occurs in the liver, Thyro-Dyne contains cysteine, which aids the liver conversion process. Iodine, tyrosine, and selenium also support thyroid gland production. However, Thyro-Dyne does not contain selenium because all multi-vitamins and mineral formulas provide ample selenium, therefore an overdose of a potentially toxic mineral is avoided.
